ABOUT

Bain Valley Fisheries can be found in the picturesque village of Tattershall Thorpe, deep in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. Set in farmland, the 7 lakes are all man made from old quarry pits and can be up to 11ft deep. There is parking at peg on every lake providing good access for disabled anglers. Day and night fishing is available and the farm has a caravan club site with pitches for 5 caravans.

Fishery Rules - For Day Ticket Lakes

  • Payment MUST be made in the hut before fishing

  • All fish to be returned to the lake immediately

  • No keepnets or carp sacks

  • Barbless hooks ONLY

  • No floating baits

  • No nuts

  • No braided mainline

  • Never leave rods unattended

  • No bait boats

  • Opening times 6.30am - 8pm

  • Maximum speed limit 5mph on fishery

  • No visitors except partners

  • Under 18 years olds MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times

  • No tents or caravans

  • No loud music

  • No takeaway deliveries after 8pm

  • No bbqs or fires on the ground

  • No litter to be left on site

  • Rod licence is required

  • Unhooking mats must be used

 

Any problems or queries should be directed to the Bailiff who will be making regular tours of the lakes.
